Poems, Stories, (Bookish) Thoughts

The ability to create and to be able to breathe life into that creation, so that it stirs a reader in many different ways – maybe takes them into a past, enables them to make meaning or interpret some present, or even throws them into a future in such a way that their minds are opened to the many possibilities, for me, is truly a kind of magic I never want to lose.

Empty side beds

It’s quite a cold morning here in Ghana, but no morning’s an excuse to skip writing right? Yes! So if you’ve been following my poetry lately, especially on instagram, you’d notice that I’m writing a lot of brevity poetry.

Some weeks back, I personally challenged myself to go on a write daily contest. This means everyday, I should (I must) dedicate 30+ minutes of my time to writing. The journey has been great so far. I may have missed two or three days, but I feel awesome!

I have dedicated my instagram page for this kind of poetry, but I also share them on twitter.  Today, I thought I should share what I wrote with you.

If you write too, connect with me on these platforms so  can read from you. In the meantime, I’d love to know what you think of this 🙂
