Poetry

February

We will denounce our indulgence

forcing ourselves into dark times

and blocking all light ways

We will carry our grief on our sore necks

and curse at the sun that once lit our faces

We will surround ourselves with thin memories;

dead pictures, ink written words and flat voices

We will hope

not to see

not to hear

or remember.

    Sometimes we deliberately shut out love because of some past pain we had gone through. We hope not to see that person, hear from that person or even remember that person. Thanks for reading Nomzi 😊😊
